Rabbit Productions began with the band Whiplash Rabbit back in the early 1990's. Rage with the Rabbit became the motto of the band that believed live rock and roll and having fun doing it was a priority.
After Whiplash Rabbit disbanded in 1994, the singer (Rich Tryon) and drummer (Dan Vachon) decided to take their experience with music and entertainment into the DJ business, and Rabbit Productions was born. Rich and Dan DJ'd over a hundred various events over the years from wedding receptions and birthday parties to weekly bar DJ'ing, and larger corporate events. The company also provided live sound reinforcement and stage lighting for local bands in the Denver metro area. Karaoke was added to the company in 1996 and became a large part of the entertainment package that Rabbit Productions provided. Times have changed over the years and Rabbit Productions has been there through it all. From records to CDs to MP3's, and from 12 inch laser disc Karaoke to CDG-MP3. Rabbit Productions now uses computer laptops for both the Karaoke and DJ functions.
In 2008, Dan Vachon started up a band with some friends, which after playing for a company function, decided to make a go of it. PBJ (The Pot Belly Jammers) was born and has been playing local bars, receptions, birthday parties and corporate events ever since. PBJ provides an entertaining and interactive show with the audience, featuring costumed performers at times, and their own renditions of a few favorites. They always entertain and also provide a song list that spans the 1950's through today.. ideal for all-age shows like receptions and events.
